Here is our 50th birthday party planning committee, hard at work making sure this is Mosaic Lady's BEST BIRTHDAY EVER.
She will probably have that glass of wine surgically attached to her lips for the next 72 hours to help her through the trauma of it all.I will notify you when her "Intervention" episode is going to air.
It's very embarrassing when she tries to convince me that the man on tee vee is her husband.I hope he can come to the intervention.
(Pee Ess: There was a very good photo of Mosaic Dawg sleeping in her bed and Sadie sleeping on her couch during our meeting, but I refused to post it. The dawg furs on the carpet were even more humiliating than when she makes me call her: "Mrs. Brian Williams".)

oh my cat - my human is sympathetic to the core for your human. the big 50 - when my human turned 28 she had a nervous breakdown and had to take a week off work. No kidding. So I dread to think how she will cope with the coming years. Stoicism is not something she does very well. So having the wine glass surgically removed from your human's mouth sounds a very very good plan.

Planning birthday parties is hard work, and I can see all of you are right on top of it! It appears all you need to do is assure that there's a sufficient quantity of wine ;-)

I think that ML and a few other Mommy's (like mine!) should start an "I turned 50 and survived club." Mommy turned 50 last August and even though O Hi O has still not recovered from the shortage of wine the birthday caused, she lived.

Fifty is nothing! My grandbeans are in their 60s and still play softball, run, bike etc. Of course my beans are in their 30s and they just sit on their tushies on the sofa....
