Bonjour, Chatties! Bienvenue à Tattle Queue mardi!
Yesterday was the one-year anniversary of the Mosaic Tribe's descent upon their new North Carolina home that they named "Frog Hill".
Here is the trusty 1991 Ford Explorer that was towed behind the moving truck. Mosaic Lady got it in 1995.
Mosaic Dawg and two to three cats rode in the Explorer while Mosaic Lady and one to two cats rode in the cab with our driver. (Walter ALWAYS rode up front, often in ML's arms.)
Why the long snout, Mosaic Dawg?
She is embarrassed to be shown in the same photo as the SUV. It has been severely neglected.
First: it is not registered in the state of NC.
Second: the battery has been dead for months.
Third: I think the windshield says it all.
Mosaic Lady does not even have her NC driver's license yet!
I hope she gets it before we go to South Carolina for Christmas because I do not think I would be comfortable in jail.
(Do not worry! She has a CO license valid till 2012.)
No, those are definitely not my feets on the windshield. I'm sure they are Sadie's. She is a chavette.
I suddenly feel quite dirty sitting here. It has triggered my OCD repetitive grooming ritual.
I have an addendum to last week's tattle involving ML's "gardening" "skills".
See these pots? These empty pots?
They, too, made the trip from CO to NC because ML was sure that she was going to do a lot of container gardening in this wonderful climate where pansies can grow on a covered porch year-round!
She set them out on this wall next to the car (the wonderful loaner Lexus from our godmother) in July for planting.
They sat there, empty, until two weeks ago, when she finally pierced the delusional veil of denial she lives behind, and put them on the ground.
She believes she might still get some pansies into them for the mild winter.
(It is a very thick veil, Kitties.)
Rainy days and Tuesdays always get me down.
Frenchy Frog is telling me how sorry he is that I must endure such humiliating living conditions here on Frog Hill.
Je regret, he whispers into my ear.
Au revoir, Chatties! Good day and Good Tattles!

I think the Mosaic Lady really needs to get her driver's license if she's driving anywhere for Christmas!
At least you have pots, even if they are empty. My humans have black thumbs so we only have grass in our yard.
I don't think ML would be comfy in jail, either, so I'm almost certain she'll get her license. I will keep my paws crossed for both of you. Great tattling! I tattled on my mommy today, too. Maybe next week I'll show the sorry state of our yard. My mommy can even kill grass without stepping foot out into the yard. She has skill.
I hope she doesn't go to jail for having an out of state license. You get a big fine in our state if you get pegged for that.
That looks like such a long move though!
I think you guys should load yourselves up into that dirty SUV and drive ML to get her North Carolina drivers license! It will be very hard for her to feed you if she is in the slammer!
Are you all going to South Carolina for Christmas? That should be interesting.
Maybe if you push the asplorer outside, it'll get rained on an at least look cleaner. I nefur asplored the outside of a car, but I's asplored inside Mom's car some. I fink the bestest place to ride is the passenger feets area cuz Mom won't let me ride by her feets or in her lap (she says she's drivin).
Sadie! Annie's tryin to hog the blog again!
Had to stop by before anothe run out the door... what a good laugh this gave to get the day going!
Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh (the zoolatry human commenting here...)
Dose pots would be good fur growing da nip inside.
I'm just sayin'
Oh Annie that was a very good tattle with excellent pictures. We applaud your posting today. YOU did a great one and you look very lovely each time we see you.
Purrs
Abby and Boo
Boo says "mew" to Willie!
That truck is about as good at Bean's car. But Bean drives the car and it is probably just as dirty. I will not sit on car, I am too embarrased.
Je regret! Hahahahaha! What an understanding and debonair froggie.
Je t'adore! Tres bien!!
Grosse Bisses,
Chase
hahaha oh that is perfect! My human understands all about the veil of denial. She is stil adamant she will reach the optimum peak of human health and fitness before she is 30. Rrrright.
I think the truck looks cool, the paw prints are a very nice touch. Make it looked..I don't know..kind of cosy!

Heh, mom spends more time wif da plants den she does wif us. Okay, dat is not really true. But she does like plants, and sewing, cooking and all dat "domestic" crap. Da prollem we haf is dad, mom hasta be medicated cuz she is OCD and dad is a big slob. It gets furry intristing around here.
We likes da paw print grafitti on da car windshield1
Maybe you can make your Explorer a lawn ornament. If you get Mosaic Lady to put some plants in those pots, you can have a nice Ford Container garden maybe.
Your buddy, Jimmy Joe
We fink those pawprints make the windshield look cool.
Mum sez she didn't know yoo had to haf a diffrunt license furr driving in diffrunt States. In the YooKay yoo only haf to haf one which cuvvers yoo furr efurrywhere.
Here in Virginia you could probably not get away for long with the out of state plates... people tattle on you... well, never us.
We agree with frenchie Frog. YOur lady needs to get perky. Our human also has these grand ideas that never take off. Pathetic...Every day we live our lives to the fullest and try to cram in every adventure possible... and our humans can be such a drag.
Pansies, no. Catnip, YES!
Annie, I understand why you suddenly felt dirty, up on that filthy truck. Are there any clean cars to lay on at Frog Hill? Any clean any thing?
Those are great tattle tales, Annie! My mom's a 'crastinator, too!
Great tattle Annie!
Your Mom has plans and a vision and every intention of getting things done.
Mom says 'you know what road is paved with good intentions'! Heeheehee
My lovely Sadie Badie, I haf a golden heart for you on my blog. Please take it wif my bestest regards. It's fur you an Mosaic Lady especially.
Purrs!
