Smelly Cat Club Saturday ~ by Annie the Mortified

Well this is an appalling and humiliating development, much in line with my fate since being adopted into this family of freaks.
The severely poo-challenged foster kitten, Smudge, has been awarded an invitation into the prestigious -- and so far, quite exclusive -- Smelly Cat Club. Founded by his Chief Enabler, Baby Mao, it fully stands to reason that this would be the first award this blog has ever received.

I had my own heart set on one of those edgy, "Nice Matters" awards.
I think I can pretty much kiss that fantasy buh-bye.

oh. Dear. This is a sad, sorry state of affairs.

I have no control over my brother's actions. I can only extend my sympathy.

Needless to say, I won't be present at any Smelly Cat Club meetings. Neither will any normal smelling cats, I imagine.

I have to say, this made by human laugh out loud (which isn't easy at the moment with her bad ankle). Well done Smudge - our poo-challenged hero. FAZ

No one said I was nice either... sigh. Maybe we should get a "nasty is good too" award going?

However, I haven't gotten a smelly cat award. The jury is out on whether it's better to not smell or get an award...

Well, I think it's a lovely award - just look at it! Therefore, I will just say congratulations and leave it at that! :)

Oh man, Annie, that doesn't seem right. But look at it this way--poor li'l Smudge is both smelly and he's still a foster kitty, so he's got two handicaps right there. He could use some award action.
Your buddy, Jimmy Joe

Sadie Badie, I didn't realize you don't got any awards yet! Are you SURE Annie doesn't need to join the smelly poo support group?
Mom FINALLY put up my pictor fur Photo Hunters, but it's a re-run. She's tryin... tryin on me nerves!

Oh Annie, I agree with Mickey. At least Baby Mao didn't give the award to you!

I am truly sorry that the first award the blog got is the Smelly Cat Club, but glad that Smudge has found a friend. The rest of you can be very glad that you weren't included in this award.

Thank you for your kind words. I have indeed found much comfort in the kindness of the CatBlogosphere. My sister-in-law is improving and may be able to be discharged and be able to come home Tuesday. That has lightened my mood considerably.

I guess NOT getting that award is like getting an award!

Hello - to limit the damage, I have given you another award - a real one that actually means something and doesn't involve poo. How immature!
